There are some who will be tempted to believe that God will allow the events of the recent past and especially the last few years, which overturn His Commandments and His Natural Law, to continue unabated into the future. Most people are oblivious to what is actually happening, because Satan has succeeded in blinding the majority of people, and only by Grace do we understand that reality. The Storm of Satan will indeed intensify until God intervenes through His Mother and allows her Triumph and the Era of Peace. Our Holy Father Benedict XVI has told us that the prophetic mission of Fatima is not over. He has prayed that the prophetic mission of Fatima will be fulfilled by the 100th anniversary in October of 2017. So, we persevere and we rely on the Hope of that message that the Holy Father has shared with us.
During these two years, we will need to trust completely in The Trinity by begging the Holy Spirit to lead us to the holiness that God is asking of us, especially the significant emphasis on reparation for sin, which God has taught Elizabeth Kindelmann and the other Exemplars of the “New and Divine Holiness” of St. John Paul II. So, once again, how do we best go about this task of holiness…this duty of our Baptism and the Call of Christ to imitate Him? In past posts, we have discussed this at some length, especially April 17 and April 29, 2015 in “Without the Holy Spirit We Accomplish Little in Ourselves and Others” and “A Divine Insight of the Holy Spirit: Two Sanctifiers are Necessary”. I would urge you to reread both of these insights and print them out for further meditation each day.
We know we must become very little and place no reliance on our opinion. We must look to the Barque of Peter, for God will not allow the Faith and Morals of His Church to be changed. But how do we stand firm when many around us seem to be abandoning the Barque and constantly criticize the Holy Father. Again, it is ONLY in the power of the Holy Spirit that we can stand firm and be truly little…Victims of Merciful Love as St. Therese has prophecized. Therefore, we must pray to the Holy Spirit, we must learn all we can about the Holy Spirit and we must ask our dear Mother to share her relationship with the Holy Spirit with us!
Here is what our Lord inspired on our duty to holiness and the role of the Holy Spirit through the great Exemplar, St. Faustina Kowalska: “My Jesus, it is truly easy to become holy; it just takes a little good will! And if He finds this minimum of good will in a soul, He quickly gives Himself to her. And nothing can stop Him, neither our faults nor our falls, absolutely nothing. Jesus hurries to help that soul; and if the soul is faithful to this Grace from God, she can in a short time reach the highest level of holiness that a created being can attain here below…He gives even more than we ask for. The SHORTEST road is faithfulness to the INSPIRATIONS of the Holy Spirit.” (Emphasis added).
St. Louis de Montfort was inspired to teach us this Truth: “It was with Mary, in Mary and of Mary that the Holy Spirit produced His Masterpiece, God-made-man, and that He produces every day until the end of the world (these) members of the Body of this adorable Head. For this reason, the more He finds Mary His dear spouse in a soul, the more powerful and effective He becomes in producing Jesus Christ in that soul…One of the major reasons why the Holy Spirit does not now work blinding wonders of Grace in our souls is that He does not find in us a sufficiently strong union with Mary, His indissoluble spouse.”
Our dear Saint John Paul II had this extraordinary teaching for us: “O Mother of Jesus now glorified in Heaven in body and soul, as the image and beginning of the Church, which is to have its FULFILLMENT IN THE FUTURE AGE HERE ON EARTH, until the day of The Lord comes, do not cease to shine before the pilgrim people of God as a sign of sure hope and consolation.” (Emphasis added).
So, Mary is the safest, surest, fastest way for us to be completely docile so we hear and act upon all the inspirations of the Holy Spirit! We will become holy and we will imitate our Mother as perfectly as possible in this life, if we hear the inspirations of the Holy Spirit… and we will better hear these inspirations the more closely we draw to Mary and her Sorrowful Heart.
By constantly praying our Rosary, making the Five First Saturdays, making our Consecration, wearing our Brown Scapular and living the Flame of Love Grace, we are calling the Holy Spirit to His Spouse, who is our Mother, who will give us the Grace to possess the Holy Spirit and hear all the inspirations of the Holy Spirit.
St. Therese gives us the key to being more faithful to the little inspirations of the Holy Spirit, so we may be faithful to the larger inspirations we find difficult to act upon now. That key is simply trust…getting up each time, admitting our complete inability and knowing God will do it because of His Infinite Love and Mercy. She writes with her amazing insight: “Imagine a father who has two children who are naughty and disobedient; and that when he comes to punish them, he sees one who trembles and runs away from him in terror knowing in his heart he deserves to be punished. His brother instead throws himself into his father’s arms, telling him he is sorry he displeased him, and that he loves him, and to prove it he will be good from now on. Now if that child asks his father to punish him with a kiss, I believe that the happy father’s heart will not be able to resist his son’s filial trust, since he knows his sincerity and love. Yet, he also knows that his son will fall into the same faults again, but he is always ready to forgive him if his son always appeals to his heart.”
Now imagine that this second son who trusts so much in his father also comes to him in the arms of his most beautiful mother, whom the father loves beyond compare……could there be any doubt that the father would not only forgive the son, but instead run to lovingly embrace the child with the beautiful mother? Does not the father look at them and embrace them as one?
As Father Bartholomew Gottmoller has written: “Mary is God’s SUPREME MASTERPIECE and being our Mother, she wants to share with us, her children, (all) that fullness of God’s life and happiness we are capable of receiving.” Would we not be the most ungrateful of children if we did not try harder each day to return just a drop of this Divine Love, especially to repair for those who know this Love, but reject or despise it? Holy Spirit, the Love between the Father and Son, let me hear all your inspirations through the ears of my beautiful Mother!
