The Need to Console the Interior Sufferings of Jesus and Mary

Our Lord explained to Elizabeth Kindelmann the incredible sadness He chooses to experience: “You see how much I walk with souls but they do not want to perceive Me. They look at Me for a moment. Then when they see Me look sad they quickly turn their head. Some tell Me: ‘We have compassion for you, but it will wait for another day.’ The vast majority do not even notice Me.” Elizabeth then started to sob abundantly and our Lord raised His voice and declared: “Oh boundless indifference….Oh this abandonment and being despised (by My own children).”

Our Lord also explained to Venerable Concepcion Cabrera de Armida this need to comfort our Lord and share in His interior sufferings, especially the rejection by so many: “The Apostolate of the Cross (which our Lord gave to her as her charism and work in forming religious orders) is the work which continues and completes that of My Sacred Heart and which was revealed to Margaret Mary….This Cross is presented to the world to bring souls toward My Heart, which is pierced on that Cross.

“The essence of this work consists in making known the Interior Sufferings of My Heart which are ignored, and which constitute for Me a more painful Passion than that which my Body underwent on Calvary, on account of the intensity and duration (of My Interior Sufferings) and which are mystically perpetuated in the Eucharist…I say again, there must be a penetration into the Interior of this boundless ocean of bitterness and an extension of knowledge of it throughout the world for bringing about the union of the suffering of the faithful (you and me!) with the immensity of the sufferings of My Heart, for the suffering of the faithful is mostly wasted.”

In order for us to set about penetrating into the Interior Sufferings of our Lord, sharing in them and consoling Him, we must take two specific steps. Saint Margaret Mary tells us the first step: “There is nothing more useful than renouncing our own will and substituting for it the Will of the Divine Heart. In this way, His Will will carry our for us whatever contributes to His Glory (penetrating the Interior Sufferings) and we will be happy to be His subjects and to trust entirely in Him.”

The second step is to desire and accept the Extraordinary Grace of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Mary is the only one to completely participate in the Interior Sufferings of Jesus and she so desires to share them with us! Our Mother told Elizabeth: “My love which is spreading will overcome the satanic hatred that contaminates the world so that the greatest number of souls is saved from damnation. I am confirming that there has never been anything like this before.”

Our Lord then explained to Elizabeth how we best participate: “Let us suffer together. I suffer united to you and you to Me…Embrace suffering. Love only Me and serve Me with fidelity. Do not be surprised that I always manifest My Love through suffering. The excessive love of My Heart makes Me consider you worthy of sufferings. This is the only way you can save many souls…The number reaping with Me is so small. Do you know why? Because there are no souls willing to bear sufferings, especially those who would do it steadily.”

Let us be the few who will bear sufferings for Him and with Him, especially in consoling him for the Interior Sufferings of rejection by so many. The more we kneel at His feet in the Most Blessed Sacrament, the more opportunity we have to console His Interior Sufferings. Let us give up some TV and Internet to be there more often to console Him! The Grace of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will allow us to overcome our natural reluctance to suffer! Fiat!
